Learn more this interesting story here and other news in Poland at our Polish Media Watch. Ohio, on the other hand, is not having trouble recognizing its Polish citizens and their history. This week, inspired by the recently published biography, the City Council of Dublin, near Columbus, voted this week to create a 40 acre wildlife area and name it Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park. Learn more about how it came about here.
Closer to home, the spirit of the harvest was felt last week at as we celebrated Dożynki at Polish Happy Hour on Thursday at Barry Dyngles on Raccoon Road.  Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley was our non-profit partner for the evening full of music, food, contests and ceremony. Learn more about it and see all the pics from that night here.
